At Park Lane we pride ourselves on working with local and national businesses to ensure our students have frequent contact with ‘Real World’ role models.
The DfE’s document ‘Careers Guidance and Inspiration in Schools’ states
Schools should help every pupil develop high aspirations and consider a broad and ambitious range of careers. Inspiring every pupil through more real-life contacts with the world of work can help them understand where different choices can take them in the future.”
This is absolutely what we aim to do for students throughout their time at Park Lane.

Examples of our work with businesses includes:

  • A Business Class partnership with Marshalls which includes an annual mentoring programme for identified Year 10 students
